Administrative Assistant
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team!
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Director the Administrative Assistant performs administrative support functions such as general word processing, data entry, email, and filing; compiles and prepares reports and meeting minutes, sets up and maintains binders and files and general office functions.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Office Assistant Certificate
- Recent, related experience of six months
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Or other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others
- Ability to use MS Office and Outlook
- Ability to operate related equipment
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Ability to type at 50 wpm
- Knowledge of Business English
- Knowledge of general office procedures
Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Status: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Admin Office in Burnaby
Rate: $20.50/hour
